"The Visit" project

Kensington Gardens in March

A sad tree

These birds are funny little creatures.
I enjoyed drawing them,
a whole family of different characters.

A concertina book, screen printed

The mapping project was very interesting to work on. I learnt how to make a concertina book and  how to prepare multiple layers for screen printing. I was pleased with the outcome.

"Curiosity Box" project

 Curiosity Box, etching

Nostalgia

“Curiosity box” was, perhaps my favourite project of the year, during which I discovered that I enjoy etching. I can see strange creatures (I call them “my fleeting apparitions”) in ordinary objects and things. I enjoyed experimenting and was pleased with the outcome.

"Food Phobias" project

Food phobias, plate design based on life drawing

"Cavi tea"  tea mug design

The “Cavi tea” transfers is my mug design for the “Food phobias” project. I like discovering a play of words in language. I think the word “cavi tea” compliments the drawings on the mug.

How sweet is your drink?

Observational drawing of teeth

For the ceramics project I chose to generate ideas and produce 3D objects on “Food Phobias”. At the beginning I had “ceramic phobia” myself, as I knew very little about the medium. The continuous primary and secondary research had helped me to identify and deliver my ideas. This is a “Sweet tooth” sugar bowl.
